As artists, we are continually collaborating with our environments; those who are most important to us in our everyday become a part of that collaborative process. When a project creates distress and doubt within, we ask these people, our closest, to shed new light on it. When a project goes well, we discuss and share it with our closest. If our closest are also our best, then the work inevitably becomes a collaboration. Collaboration is essential to creation; we explore that here.
